Too lazy for a dance ... but not for a talk xD

Hello,

Half the month has gone already and I am still waiting for my documents T_T but…. In mean time I play with poses and work my magic to find you the best ones to show you.

Today I am in a lazy mood (as always), I just want to be sit and do nothing, it’s the reason why I have this picture for you. Using pose number 01 from the Tickled Feet I Collection. There are few other sittings poses in SL that I like, and this on definitely one of them, it’s just plain cool, with a touch of attitude, don’t you think so?.



This pose is available at our booth at the Footwear Expo, grab your toboggan and enjoy all the sights covered in snow! I also made my own snow man :D (You have to come see it!) You will also find more poses and the rest of our collections that were made exclusively for the Expo.

It's time to look glamorous

I have been quite busy the past few weeks. At the moment I’m trying to work out in my mind something extraordinary for Striking Poses and something for our friends who will have business patnership with us (more news about that later)

I ‘m sure you have all heard about the SL Footwear Expo 2009. You have also probably heard that we were invited to participate and of course we couldn’t resist. Zelly has made some very unique poses just for this event, so you won’t want to miss it!



This week our new release was Femm Vice, this is a unique couple’s pose, totally chic. The pack includes copy-able pose balls as well as individual poses, for those people who don’t have a partner ;) You ill always find a use for this pose, couple or not, it's an extraordinary, fashionable pose.






If you like the shoes I’m wearing in the photo above take note that they were created by the wonderful Magnifico grils. They do superb shoes, just looking at the Fano Pumps I’m wearing in black they are fantastic. They also come in various colours and include a hud to allow them to match your own skin. We are Nominated!!!!

Today we have the most exciting news for you here at Striking Poses. Last Saturday I was chatting with Zelly when she sent me a note card named “Take a look at this”, as soon as I opened it I was in shock, I couldn’t believe what I read. I felt this happiness inside, a sense of joy…. We have been nominated…

That was my first news for today, my second news is of course about a new release and this week it is time for couples!



Femme Vice is based on a fashion advert, these poses are perfect for designers, designers of shoes, pants, tops, or hair, you decide. It is a really cool pose, even for shapes and skin designers. Three's Company ...

Hiya!
I am hopping you haven’t forgotten our super duper big party this Sunday, and how lots of stores in game have sales, It’s the perfect chance to chose your pretty party dress :D

Hello… all of you!

I hope you are all doing better than I am, I managed to catch the silly flu, thanks to one of my friends *sneezes*. I had an amazing weekend with my good friends; we had such a laugh and really enjoyed our selves, it had been nearly 3 years since we last met!

Anyway, none of that will stop me from posting the new and hottest things from Striking Poses, so pay attention, as I have some awesome things to share with you :)

I will start with our new release this week, again thinking on couple poses Zelly has this time produced a his and hers set and what couldn’t be more exciting than to have a couples pose based on the Becks! Lucky Victoria!

Getting ready for the party?

Hello Everybody,

I’m thinking most of you will be away from the city this weekend, probably at home preparing the fireworks or making sure your barbeques are in pristine condition… Yup, it’s time to celebrate one of the most important days for you guys up North in America. I can remember the days when I lived there, the 4th of July celebrations were always amazing, full of happiness and joy, something I will never forget. (Did I mention 20days after the 4th, it will be my RL birthday? ;)lalala)

I wish you all a Happy 4th of July! And I hope you all celebrate it with your friends and family, and I hope it is a day filled with the joy and happiness!

I have been working on a photo to share with you all, but you will have to wait till tomorrow when Jordy makes her post.(pssst Jordy, could you please post the picture for me? :3 )

I hope you all remember what the release was for this week, if not I’ll just say this… “Glam and Grace” is an adorable female pose, and the pose was made for two ladies to share the moment together. I took this a little further, and I grabbed Spad and instead of sharing it was a lady friend, I shared it with him! I know it sounds rather strange, but the shot I took for the photo was just perfect.. Just take a look for yourself:

Hello July :D (I love this month!!!)

Heeeeeeeeeyyy!!!

Today I looked up at our mountains here in Chile, and I was so happy to see them covered in snow. I can’t wait for the sun to come out, so I can get some snowboarding done, or maybe spend the day playing in this lovely white land XD

Yesterday I showed you the couple poses called Glam and Grace. The poses were based on those two Olsen girls. You all know what I’m like, so I have taken some more photos to show you the different views of these magnificent poses.

The package includes a ball with both poses attached, and then two single poses. Today I want to show you what the right pose looks like, and of course using a little imagination and an artist touch!

In my opinion these poses are really provocative when you use them together, but separate, they are just lovely and feminine, I love the way the head moves to one side, giving you the “dreamer” look.



Okay … I have some new news for you, today July 1st starts a new hunt called “Cinderella's lost slipper” and Striking Poses is taking part. All you need to do is look for the lost slipper, which will contain your prize! Also, it contains an advert, clicking the advert and you’ll get the next location to hunt for the next fabulous prize! The hunt is going to be running for all of July, so if you can’t find the slipper first time round, you can always come back. I have say that the prize from Striking Poses will remind you of those bed time stories you were told as a child, and will give you that feeling of being a princess ;)



And last, but not least, I couldn’t help but make a photo with the freebie for this week. The Kate Perry dollarbie, a really nice pose, grab it for 1L at the middle of the store, in front of the stairs.

Bye Bye June!

Hi hi everybody!

Finally the true Chilean winter is here, last weekend it rained all day and night and today looking up at the mountains today, they are shadowed by a sky full of clouds. This all points to one thing SNOW! With the winter here the best thing is to be at home with a warm fireplace on and my kitty curled in my lap meanwhile I chat with my fiancé on Skype.

Anyway I am here to show you the new releases for the week. This week has started today for me, as yesterday was national holiday here in Chile!

Here we go, the new couples pose release, and it’s a nice pose for girls, for that full of true feeling feel. The pose is based on the Olsen twins, making this an idea pose for those creative shoots with your most beautiful models and your amazing design creations.

Hi there,

first at all I would like to apologize for not showing you our new releases before, but I was out of the city and where I had to go, I didn't want to use internet, to visit a friend is not to take your laptop with you and get stuck all day on it, to visit friends, is to share all what you have inside after 6 months of not seing eachother :) and not excuses ... was her bday ;)


First of all I'd like to say sorry for not showing you the new releases earlier, but I was out in the city over the past few days and I didn't have access to the Internet. As much as I wanted to tak emy laptop with me so I could make this post for you, I couldn't. I was visiting a friend I had not seen in 6 months, we were celebrating her brithday, and yeah, I had lots of fun :D

So, I have arrived home and I have this wonderful new release, perfrect for those shoe or jewellery designers. This couples pose is base on Versaci ad with Carmen Kass possing too (she was our release last week)



I wanted to show you a different view using both poses at the same time, but looking at it again, is not just good for shoes or jewerly, look how the legs can be exposed and how tattoos or a nice pair of longs pants can be very good look with this pose. or Prim nails, accesories ... everything!


I wanted to show you what you can do when you use two poses together, sitting here looking at it, I would say it can be used for more than just to show of those shoes or jewellery, look at how the legs are exposed just think how a tattoo or even a pair of pants would look when using these poses, or maybe even prim nails, or accessories... ah what not everything!

I’m little (okay, more than a little) down today, the internet went poof, my radio decided to give up the ghost and my day at work was just horrible. Also the difference between hours with my boyfriend is now 5 and I can hardly speak with him, my salary is not enough to cover my monthly costs and I'm stuck living in a place that I hate ... but ... I try hard to keep on smiling, even though I have no reason to.

Anyway, again this is not about me, it is about the POSES!!! What I have for you today is an old release, but a really hot release! And what makes it even better ... its a couple pose!



I like the sensation when you have been separated from your partner for a while and then you get to meet them again; all you want is to hold them so tightly that it becomes desperation. This couples pose is based on that feeling.

What is better than a HUUUUG!!

Huhu there!!

IS FRIDAY!! and believe it or not, I got a really nice day at work... ah well ...lets talk about poses that is better than a RL job xD

Zelly was inspired with her previous creation based on the Olsen girls that she had to go and make another, and this one just being as adorable as the previous one!



You can use this couples pose with anyone you like, best friend, daughter, mum, cousin, sister.. even your pet cat!, okies maybe not your cat, but you get the idea! I chose to call the one boy in my life that means the world to me, and we shared this pose together, this lovely embrace. (How could I refuse him the embrace, he had just bought me the TULI Relay For Life edition!!! he deserved more than a big bear hug, bless him).

Lets be a Diva! (with Striking Poses of course)

This week I am going to start with a glamorous couples pose based on the Olsen girls. Looking at the pictures can you believe how much they have grown up? I can remember the pair when they were little minxes, oh and I should call them ladies and not girls… or well.. maybe not.. :p



The pose is lovely, and you really feel close to the person that you share this pose with, it looks like you are sharing a really special moment together!

Sometimes I feel like a real diva and of course my best friend feels this too, we wanted to make a picture to send to a magazine with an interview title that reads “Divas of SL” hahaha.. just joking. (if you are a magazine owner and you are interested… contact us! *lalala*)
