We are Nominated!!!!

Today we have the most exciting news for you here at Striking Poses. Last Saturday I was chatting with Zelly when she sent me a note card named “Take a look at this”, as soon as I opened it I was in shock, I couldn’t believe what I read. I felt this happiness inside, a sense of joy…. We have been nominated…

Nominated I hear you ask? Yes, indeed we have been, and not for anything less than the “International Fashion Awards 2009”!! WOOT!! Thanks all for choosing for to be part of this great event!

That was my first news for today, my second news is of course about a new release and this week it is time for couples!



Femme Vice is based on a fashion advert, these poses are perfect for designers, designers of shoes, pants, tops, or hair, you decide. It is a really cool pose, even for shapes and skin designers. Of course if you are more artistic, you can find a better way to show off your art with this pose. Be original with Femme Vice.

Last week we released the Wet Dreams Collection and I forgot to show you the real life picture that Zelly based the actual poses on. If you remember she is a Porn Star, Jenna Jameson. So check out these pictures, they are just the same as the poses ;P

Quickie...

Just sneaking a quick entry in tonight. Ake will be updating you on the newness with Striking Poses tomorrow instead of my usual Harlow blog.

Last week I blogged about the gorgeous Black Lace Fae outfit from Dance Creations. Where do my days go?

And here it comes again… Friday!

I just can’t believe the weekend is here again, where are the days going? …. Feels like I do nothing and I end up with lots of things to do and no time for anything else … I’m in shock really.

Anyway … a new weekend means a new release, but this time I do not have a sneak peak! Sorry, I was in a hurry and there wasn’t time for me to do a sneak peak for you, but I will tell you this the poses are very fashionable :P

No matter, I always have something for you, as I said it’s not a sneak peak but news about the release for this week, Wet Dreams, do you remember? What a great poses weren’t they? I already took my favorites from the collection and only 2 of them will be in the blog.

Wet Dreams are poses based on this hot porn star Jenna Jameson, she is super sexy and super pretty!

I chose pose number 2 because it looks so chic, the stand is perfect for a catwalk, with the hand on the hip and the head looking to one side, try it out, I am sure you will love it.



My second choice is pose number 6 … rather hot, isn’t it? … this is a pose that opens your imagination, I got several ideas on how to use it, but I came out with something simple and not …. Mmm … porn xD … the hands up looks hot as ever, I really like this pose, and the legs stand, as I see it as an invitation to play with ;)



I want to remind you about our dollarbie 02, it is a lovely pose full of energy, I am sure you will love it, so don’t forget to pick it up.

Omg so I downloaded every episode of Glee that has screened so far...and I'm laughing my arse off! Is high school in America really like this? If you haven't watched this, check it out! And no, I don't just love it cos they do the most awesome ever version of "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey...but it helps!

Shapes by Striking Poses ... and more

Hello everybody,

Quite a while ago Striking Poses introduced a new product to complement our fantastic poses. Do you remember what it was? No? Shapes! They used to be available in our old store.

Acacia, Acantha, Achilla, Achlys, Adara, Adelpha, Airlia, Bellanca are all the names of the shapes we offered, they came in different weights, heights and face shapes.

And now we would like to introduce our new shape……….. “Bryony”.
This shape is 7’3” or 2.21cms in height. It has a slim well made shape that will work well for modeling!



Bryony has a lovely face, a turned up nose and with small eyes, the touch to detail makes this shape match any skin with perfection.

I put together some pictures together to show you how our poses work perfectly with this new shape, both poses from the new Wet Dreams collection.

Some point this week I will show you my favorite poses from the Wet Dreams collection, I must confess that I had trouble picking poses to use… they are all super cool … or super wet ;)

Monday on Harlow.

Wow its November already. Where did this year go? Thinking back to where I was last year compared to this one, well a lot has changed. Mostly for the better.

Time to show some of the goodies from Harlow before I go all melancholy and do something really hideous...like sing Bette Midler songs *cringe*

Late Sunday News

Hello fellow readers,

Halloween is over for another year and I don’t want to see any pumpkins or scary faces for the next 364 days. :p

And for start of this week, I have the most fantastic news for you all coming from Striking Poses, so let’s begin!

“Wet Dreams” does this name say something to you?, well for me it does and for all our member in our group, because this is the new release for this week. This collection is based on Jenna Jameson a porn star, so you can imagine how good this poses are. There are 10 poses, and 2 of them are very well made sitting ones. Its been a busy Halloween all over the grid with lots of hunts, events and sales. Personally I can't wait for all the orangeness to be over. I don't think its quite my colour!

I totally love this look! The top is two seperate layers, a tube top which you wear underneath the assymetrical top layer, which gives a sexy and rebellish look to your upper half, totally in keeping with the "rule breaker" graphic. The jeans come in three different styles, basic, light and extra - which I think applies to the rips and blood etc on them. Btw, this is another example of why hitting subscribos and joining groups is an awesome idea. This whole outfit was a gift from Insatiable Fashions.

I have blogged it before, but wanted to show it off again, cos I like it. Its a sexy and fun outfit for any occasion.

Fangirl alert!!! I had to show off my favourite catsuit from XTC. What kind of fangirl would I be to let that slip by? You can be a supervillian or a superhero in this and look incredible doing it!

Another good Shop at Harlow

Hello fellow readers,

I’m posting today to tell you about a really nice shop that has just been rented on Harlow, and just for this post I’ll be talking about shops instead of Jordan.
Blush & Bashful Boutique is a new shop here in Harlow at the Docks, and I have to admit I’m happy about this shop opening, why? The owner of this store is a very good friend of mine, Gigi Sapeur.

She is an excellent designer, her clothes are always of good quality, the textures and hand work are perfect. She always puts in realistic details into her designs making it hard to resist buying them all. Also just to add she has very reasonable prices!

I have had the pleasure to model some of her work in the past and I just love it, and today I am going to show you how good she is.
As the summer is starting here where I live, I got the “Peacock Bathing Suit” a lovely and very sophisticated one piece swimwear in a lovely pastel green colour with 2 peacocks on the front ;).

Now, if you are in a city and want to look chic and casual, this “Lil' Miss Plaid in red” will look lovely on you all, it’s a 2 pieces suit that suits all girls of every skin colour. The kilt top comes with a strapless option and the skirt matches perfectly with the colours of the top, it’s a very nice suit for the beginning of autumn and of course make sure to wear a jacket, if you plan on being out for long time :P

And to finish, I for you something for those days that we don’t want to dress so much, and feel comfortable at home, well, Blush & Bashful has a selection of panties saying “I love you” in many languages like Spanish, Japanese or French :O . The top is not from the set of panties, but I found this great “Beware of Bridezilla tshirt”, clever uh? … and if you take a close-up look you will see the wrinkles in it, as I said before Blush & Bashful has really great clothes collection at wonderful prices.

Just a sneak peak

Well … I was planning to have a huge post for all of you today, but … I never finished it, anyway … for you I have this fantastic Sneak Peak!
