Okay, I know you were expecting some nice pictures to celebrate this day, but I just forgot. I am living in a place without time and I just didn’t realise till today that is 17th!! Sowwy! T_T

But .. I do have something nice, and this is one of the poses from our new collection High Fashion. This pose is perfect for those gowns that have a open side leg, just like the dress I am wearing in my picture:



This is pose number 2, I like the way you look, a cool stand and a very feminine way to put your hands, you are the boss! Totally!

Ah yes … In April Striking Poses is going to be part of the Pose Fair 2010! YAAAY!! It's about time the pose community has a fair, don't you think? You won't want to miss this. We will have exclusive sets made for the fair and to help support charity. Mark it on your calendars!

Okey here’s the thing, I don’t know what we have done wrong here in Chile, huge earthquake followed by a tsunami and then many aftershocks each night. Yesterday we even had a blackout that affected over 9 states for 3hours, and we only have 13 states! Please someone give us a break!!! T_T


Anyway … Last Friday I told you about our new collection “High Fashion”, which is available now at our store :D

This collection is the first from Striking Poses new FASHION COUTURE POSE line; these poses are specifically made to go with your haute couture fashion. You can’t miss these! Not now with all the RLF things happening, you will need one of our poses to match all the clothes you will get there ;)

This adorable pose is number 6, when I first saw the hand near the face I thought "she is talking on the phone!" so I added my particular mobile and voilá!!!

Late Sunday News

Hello fellow readers,

Halloween is over for another year and I don’t want to see any pumpkins or scary faces for the next 364 days. :p

And for start of this week, I have the most fantastic news for you all coming from Striking Poses, so let’s begin!

“Wet Dreams” does this name say something to you?, well for me it does and for all our member in our group, because this is the new release for this week. This collection is based on Jenna Jameson a porn star, so you can imagine how good this poses are. There are 10 poses, and 2 of them are very well made sitting ones. And of course they are super sexy with the quality that you know from Striking Poses.



Now you can breathe as shapes are back with this lovely shape called “Bryony”. This will remind you of that girl next door all tall and slander. Don’t forget to try the demo before you buy and take a look on at the face, how cute?

Just a sneak peak

Welcome to my Sunday News!

Another weekend is over, most of you have work tomorrow, sad but true, only a few of us get to stay at home. I say a few, I mean all us Chilean people! And some other Latin people too. Tomorrow is a holiday as we celebrate the Race Day, this is when Cristobal Colón discovered America, and no I do not mean the of North of America, sorry guys … this is our day xD … Even though I would have preferred that some of the British cologne came to South America xD

Anyway… on with the important news about Striking Poses and its new release! WooT!! yes guys another fantastic release is out. This time it is the turn for International Supermodels, based on this gorgeous girl “Adriana Sklenarikova”.

This collection comes with 10 poses, one sitting, one kneels, cross arms, or arms on the hip, this is a fantastic collection for models and underwear designers, why not, skin designers ;)

New Release! Kim B at Striking Poses!

Hello everybody!


This weekend is going to be another busy few days as lots of new skins and shapes come out, and I have to say that I have been waiting some time for this to come. Why? Because my lovely fiancé has promised to buy me my favorite “make up” set :D


And how can we not forget, with the weekend comes…. A NEW RELEASE! I have for you this fabulous sexy woman who goes by the name of Kim Basinger. Remember the sneak peak? Well this is her! The collection comes with 10 poses, two of which are sitting and one lying pose. It is a very insinuating collection the poses are original, making them ideal for cloth designers. A pose set we should all have in our inventory….. In our adverts… and well.. In every store! Be sure you’ll be ‘In the Mood’ to get this ;)



Also as mentioned in my previous post, we have put together some large adverts that detail the name changes to each pose set, this should make it easier to identify if you already own the pose or not. Since the changes in our store the only release is this ‘In The Mood’ collection so you have not missed anything!



A REMINDER! You only have 4 days left to collect the chilies in Harlow! Be warned, they are “too hot to handle” *giggles* So make sure you visit our sim Hunt here at Harlow, you have till the 30th September. Hurry Hurry! Hellow Weekend and ...

Hello Striking Poses Fans!

Friday is here and that means one more week till my big day, in a way, I’m not really looking forward to it, as Spad is not going to be with me to celebrate it, but … I have really good friends and if all goes well, we will spend the weekend in the snowed covered mountains!! YAY!!!

Anyway … Jordan is back so WELCOME BACK HUN! It is really nice to have her here again as I couldn’t do her awesome job xD

So … I have for you one of my last pictures using 2 of the poses from the fatpack Hello Lover. I used the sitting pose number 3 and the standing pose number 7, I chose these because they have a sensual view, they look like they want to be loved and to receive all the tenderness that your partner can offer to you. They look so soft and lovely, they invite you to be touched … the touch of an angel (in rollers xD)

Did you enjoy your weekend? ... because we did!

I’m not sure where to start, so many things happened over the past few days. I will try and cover it as best I can in a readable and understandable kind of way. xD

First of all, I would like to thank all of you fantastic people who came over and partied with us at the weekend. I have to say we had lots of fun, and the selection of people who stopped by was just amazing, we had famous SL people, we had bloggers, designers, our customers, friends.. ah we had everyone! Because of all these fantastic people the part was a huge success!

And of course this couldn’t of happened without the excellent job that the guys from Studio Red did! They had produce the most wonderful set of invitations, they were brilliant hosts and excellent planners, and because of them everything turned out just amazing!

Next we want to thank the brilliant designers at our sim, they worked really hard in creating the most fabulous set of gifts for you and we really appreciated the love and attention you put into each gift. Without you guys this party would have never happened.

I’d like to Congratulate all of our Trivia winners, and I’m sure you are all enjoying your prizes and let’s not forget the two “Best in Glam” winners, wow didn’t they look stunning! If you missed them, or if they didn’t rezz fully (like for me, Thanks Linden!) you’ll get a chance to see them in the next couple of days when we award them their prizes!

I will be putting some photos online soon from the party, and you’ll need to look over at our flickr group to see them all! But for now … enjoy these ones ;)









This week’s release is not based on any particular celebrity. Zelly has called these poses “Hello Lover” and the poses are well, you know Zelly.. they are as always, absolutely fantastic, and I can’t make my mind up to how I will show them to you.



If I could, I’d love to spend the time and show you all 10 poses done my way.

I'm always blank when I've to write a title xD

A new week is here and I’m happy to tell you that we have a new release!

This time the pose is based on yet another beautiful and lovely girl, she is a singer and a very good one at that.

As you can see in the picture below, the fatpack consists of a mixture of stand up and sitting poses, as well as a kneeling pose, giving you a total of 10 poses to pick from.



During the week I’ll be showing you all some of my favorite poses!

You are probably already aware that Harlow and Striking Poses are organizing the most glamorous party ever in Second Life! That means all that designers that want to have a store in Harlow will need to act quickly as we only have 4 left and the party is nearly upon us! Have a chat with Jordan to find out more! Hello Lovelies!

Another week is here and to make you all smile with delight we have a new release for you(WEEEEE!!!). This time were not basing the pose on a celebrity (Celebrities are on a break this week) this release has be created from the amazing imagination of Zelly!

The pose has a rather catchy name "iF yoU SEeK AMY" (see if you can spot the hidden word ;)). As always this comes in a fatpack collection and of course you all know our poses are of the highest quality and sold at great prices!



I have to confess that Zelly has crossed the line when it comes to the design of these new poses! They are just hot, sizzling HOT! Pop over to our store and try out these poses for yourself, but I have to warn you, you may get burnt! (Yes! they are that HOT!) Also feel free to take a look around the store and try all the other magnificent poses we have for you!

Many of you may already know about this weeks release, as you are a member of our group and because of this you receive the updates before they are posted on the blog. Not a member yet? what are you waiting for? We have a Subscribe-O-Matic that won't use any of your group slots and you'll be constantly updated with all things Striking Poses!

We have set up a subscribe kiosk for Harlow which can be found in the front of the store ... if you subscribe using the kiosk, you'll be able to get all updates about everything that happens at Harlow!



This is the kiosk and will be found around our Harlow Sim, of course this is also in front of the main store, come and be part of the most original and amazing sim EVER!

And to finish this post, I have something that I couldn't help but post ... my own picture using the dollarbie for this week, Amy Lee ... this is a lovely and delicate pose that is a must have for all you girls! It looks so gracious when you wear it with wings :3



As always you can find the dollarbies in the middle of our main store, just next to the windows in front of the stairs, there are also many more dollarbies for you and don't forget that at the back of the store are all the lucky chairs waiting for you to be a lucky winner.

Hi there,

first at all I would like to apologize for not showing you our new releases before, but I was out of the city and where I had to go, I didn't want to use internet, to visit a friend is not to take your laptop with you and get stuck all day on it, to visit friends, is to share all what you have inside after 6 months of not seing eachother :) and not excuses ... was her bday ;)


First of all I'd like to say sorry for not showing you the new releases earlier, but I was out in the city over the past few days and I didn't have access to the Internet. As much as I wanted to tak emy laptop with me so I could make this post for you, I couldn't. I was visiting a friend I had not seen in 6 months, we were celebrating her brithday, and yeah, I had lots of fun :D

So, I have arrived home and I have this wonderful new release, perfrect for those shoe or jewellery designers. This couples pose is base on Versaci ad with Carmen Kass possing too (she was our release last week)



I wanted to show you a different view using both poses at the same time, but looking at it again, is not just good for shoes or jewerly, look how the legs can be exposed and how tattoos or a nice pair of longs pants can be very good look with this pose. or Prim nails, accesories ... everything!


I wanted to show you what you can do when you use two poses together, sitting here looking at it, I would say it can be used for more than just to show of those shoes or jewellery, look at how the legs are exposed just think how a tattoo or even a pair of pants would look when using these poses, or maybe even prim nails, or accessories... ah what not everything!




Use them together or as seperate poses, you always have that option with striking Poses, every couple pose we sell, can be used as singals!

Pink for girlies?

I have another confession to make, my second this month doesn't sound so good, does it?

I have to confess that when Zelly sent me the new release for this week, I had no idea to whom she was. I googled her, I checked YouTube, I looked on Wikipedia and nothing at all, I was completely lost to whom it was and the little information I found on her didn’t make much sense to me..

I asked Zelly if she was like Paris Hilton but with pink hair? Zelly laughed at me! ... and she promptly told me not to be silly and that it is in fact Audrey Kitching!

This girl with her bright pink hair and her very unique style is ideal for this week’s set of poses! The poses Zelly has produced look fresh, stylish and cool, isn't that a good combination for you? It sure is for me and I’m really thinking to update my HUD this week ... why not? :)



As you know with all new collections this comes with 10 poses, in the case you can’t decide each of them are available to buy separately as well as the fat pack.
