My lovely cat woke me up at 7am this morning after I had only gone to bed at 4am… I love my cat! Yay!
So, I was away yesterday, that is why I didn’t post the Sunday news, but since I am a responsible person, here I am with all the news you need to know about Striking Poses :D .. well I almost forgot to post it today T_T

Hi there!

Guess what, I have a sneak peek for you all today! YAY!!! Just in time before the new collection is released :D




I hope you all have enjoyed our last release, The Ballerina. I found them totally adorable, the poses are just beautiful, really.



I also hope you have all received Zelly’s gift, was away to say thanks all for sticking by us. The giftfor those who don’t know was a box that contains 3 random poses and it should be within your inventory under the name of “SP_Group Gift”

My friend Lou asked me for a picture, together, so I managed my self to do something cool, in my opinion of course(my desktop pc is horrible slow), so he is posing the "Male Models 02" pose number 01 (based on Vin Diesel) and I am on "Posh and Spicy" pose number 10 (based on Victoria Beckham)

Summer is here T_T

Hello lovelies!

I’m in a great mood, you all must know why ;) (not because summer is here and we got 30°C and I was melting)

I want to thank Jordan for her lovely post and to everyone that attended our wedding, to see you all there was the most amazing gift we could have :D

The other day I was kind of bored … well … not bored really, I just needed something to distract me, so I started to do some photo shoots, and I managed to do some nice pictures. In my opinion. :P

I used the Drama Queens Collection, this is an old package based on an old drama queen actress, this collection is totally great, all the poses have a special stand that makes you feel like a queen, they has style and quality, I am sure you can take that Drama Queens out of you using this poses ;)

We are Nominated!!!!

Today we have the most exciting news for you here at Striking Poses. Last Saturday I was chatting with Zelly when she sent me a note card named “Take a look at this”, as soon as I opened it I was in shock, I couldn’t believe what I read. I felt this happiness inside, a sense of joy…. We have been nominated…

Nominated I hear you ask? Yes, indeed we have been, and not for anything less than the “International Fashion Awards 2009”!! WOOT!! Thanks all for choosing for to be part of this great event!

That was my first news for today, my second news is of course about a new release and this week it is time for couples!



Femme Vice is based on a fashion advert, these poses are perfect for designers, designers of shoes, pants, tops, or hair, you decide. It is a really cool pose, even for shapes and skin designers. Of course if you are more artistic, you can find a better way to show off your art with this pose. Be original with Femme Vice.

Last week we released the Wet Dreams Collection and I forgot to show you the real life picture that Zelly based the actual poses on. If you remember she is a Porn Star, Jenna Jameson. So check out these pictures, they are just the same as the poses ;P

Late Sunday News

Hello fellow readers,

Halloween is over for another year and I don’t want to see any pumpkins or scary faces for the next 364 days. :p

And for start of this week, I have the most fantastic news for you all coming from Striking Poses, so let’s begin!

“Wet Dreams” does this name say something to you?, well for me it does and for all our member in our group, because this is the new release for this week. This collection is based on Jenna Jameson a porn star, so you can imagine how good this poses are. There are 10 poses, and 2 of them are very well made sitting ones. And of course they are super sexy with the quality that you know from Striking Poses.

oops I almost forget my post!

Hellooooooooooo there!

Are you doing alright? I hope so… Me? Well, I’m in shock that it is now October, I haven’t really noticed how quickly these days are passing, they just seem to run on by without me being able to enjoy them *sigh*

Anyways… I am posting today to show you the latest pictures of our poses and their original picture from them.
So, not much to say … just enjoy :)












Just to remind you there is still a shop at Harlow available to rent, it comes with 75 prims and costs 375L a week. Also there are just 4 places left on our advertisement board’s . These are located in the main street at Harlow and 2 at the docks, so hurry up and get yours before they are all gone.

I 'm a mess with titles :S

Hey Folks!


When I have too much on my mind it becomes blocked and after attending a boss-employee meeting I ended up with so many ideas floating round my mind I just forgot about all the other things I should have been doing. Today I managed to finally finish the sneak peak and some other job that Zelly has me working on for her.

The post today will be based on three things. First of all I’ll show you the last 5 pictures from the collection “In the Mood” based on Kim Basinger. This was released on Saturday and can be found in the middle of our mains tore.

I have for you something that Zelly wanted me to create and it’s to show you the original pictures that the poses were based on. It took me some time to come up with this nice little design for them :)

I have to say the end result is not what I had in my mind, as I’d prefer to show you my own way to the use the poses in Second Life and in Real Life; I may come up with something else a later, not sure yet though.

Anyhow, here they are ;)











Next, I’m getting the new releases well in advance of their release date, so I am now able to produce true sneak peak pictures for you. The next line up of poses are incredible and I am really looking forward to showing them all to you, but in the mean time you’ll have to wait.. but I do have this for you, enjoy it :P



Lastly, we have a new dollarbie available to you all and like all the other poses our dollarbies now come with a new style and name…



The dollarbie poses are available to our group members for the super low sum of 1L, if you are not a member then you have two choices, the first is simple.. Become a group member! The second.. is to buy them at a slightly higher price than 1L. But of course the obvious choice is join our group and enjoy all the great benefits our group members receive. Not a group member? What are you waiting for? Join us now!

It's Fishing time!

Okay, How I have no idea how this things works, I had to ask Rhinna for a NC explaining this funny tournament ... so here you have!

The all new Harlow Fishing Tournaments offer a generous 300L prize pot! That will be split 3 ways! Not only that but we accept donations to the pot, taking the pot to anywhere over 500L! Something for Friday...

Hello everyone!

You won’t believe it, but I’m sat here writing this at 3am in the morning. I can’t sleep as I had such a wonderful surprise from my boyfriend Spad, as you know we are a couple in real life too, but at the moment due to the distance we can’t be together… The thing is I have just finished opening one of my birthday presents from him, it was a lovely Teddy bear from the Tatty Teddy collection and we named him “Much” as his T-shirt says “I love you this much”. I have the past man in my life, in both my lives!

Okay, Okay, this post isn’t about me, so I am going to show you some of my latest pictures using the latest release of poses, the Nadia Vodianova collection and the Bishes group poses.

I’ve made a mixture of the poses, I’ve put together 2 of the Nadia poses and one of the Bishes:



Okay, from left to right, we have Nadia Pose 7, followed by the left Bishes group pose, and then Nadia pose 2. I must mention that the outfit I am wearing in the middle pose is a gift from my good friend Gigi Sapeur, she had designed and made this wonderful outfit and requested that I model it for her store Blush and Bashful and I have to say she is a huge fan of Striking Poses too :D



I hope you had all grabbed your couple’s pose ‘Body Slam’ as the time in which to get it will pass for you and you’ll have to pay the normal price instead of the 1L it is for our group members.

Also, I haven’t seen many pictures for the contest, time is running and you only have till Sunday to send in your work, after that we’ll be working hard selecting the best of the best ;)
