Weekend!

Finally it’s Friday! Woohooo, weekend is here and lots of things are happening, we at Striking Poses and the folks of Harlow are preparing for our “Harlow Costumed Scavenger Hunt”, I’m sure you have seen all the adverts around the sim and of course the one that I’ve included in my blog posts.

If you haven’t seen it, here you go … again :P



There are many wonderful prizes including 3k linden dollars! So mark your calendars for this October 25th, you have enough time to find the perfect costume, remember there is also 3k Lindens for the best in costume!!

This is my favorite part, when I get the chance to show you my work with the poses; I took the last one of the ISM 14 Collection. This picture was made last week before I went to work, I was enjoying the sun before it set, I love this pose, it makes you feel in touch with your deeper self.



If you like it (I’m sure you do!), it is International Supermodel 14, pose number 10.
I also have a different pose for you, it is a group one and is made for girls, but if you know how to modify them then you can also use it with a boy ;) just like I did…

It's Party Time!

Hello Everybody!

This has been a long week but a really good one for me. I am happy to be back in my routine. I have to thank my friends that greet me for my real life birthday. I had a really great time with them.

I always finish and start chatting about me, and I forget what I should be posting about, silly me! Well, let me get stuck right in and tell you the latest from Striking Poses!

First thing, we are currently looking through all the contest submissions and I have to say were having a hard time trying to choose the winner. But we’ll be sure to tell you all on July 30th!

While you wait, why not go grab your best pair of shoes, and your favourite dress.. as we at Striking Posses are going ...... PARTY PARTY!!! That’s right, were holding another PARTY!!!

The party will be this Saturday (1st of August) at 2pm SLT and it’s going to be held on one of the streets of Harlow and to keep things easy we have themed it.. “Come as you are” that means come in whatever you like! I’ll mention that you should all bring your thinking caps, as we’ll be holding random trivia’s to test your knowledge, and if you get a question right, you’ll win a prize! Weeee! We’ll also have a live DJ attending.. DJ Tydeyz Snook, she has a very sexy voice, and I’m always curious about him when I hear him speak! Oh.. did I mention Prizes? Well, what would a party be without Prizes? Soo.. we many prizes to give away all contributed from the stores in Harlow!

Bye Bye June!

Hi hi everybody!

Finally the true Chilean winter is here, last weekend it rained all day and night and today looking up at the mountains today, they are shadowed by a sky full of clouds. This all points to one thing SNOW! With the winter here the best thing is to be at home with a warm fireplace on and my kitty curled in my lap meanwhile I chat with my fiancé on Skype.

Anyway I am here to show you the new releases for the week. This week has started today for me, as yesterday was national holiday here in Chile!

Here we go, the new couples pose release, and it’s a nice pose for girls, for that full of true feeling feel. The pose is based on the Olsen twins, making this an idea pose for those creative shoots with your most beautiful models and your amazing design creations.



Talking about couple poses, do you remember the group gift for last week? The Triangle pose? well, now you will have to pay for it, but it’s for sale at good price and you can spread cost with your 2 friends xD



You can find these poses in the middle of the store at the right side of the stairs.

And in today’s sale we have the sport Illustrated fatpack, this contains really nice poses for those girls who love to show their perfect body or that new bikini. The nice part, all of them are from different years, I have the 2004 pose on my hud :P



Poses reduced from 50L to 25L...fatpack is 250L. In celebration of summer. Where to find it? Easy … in the middle of the room at the main store where the dollarbie tree is, right next to the Michael Jackson fatpack (also at a really low price).
