Thursday Goodies from Harlow!

Wo0t its almost the weekend again! What a busy week its been! I've finally caught up on all the stuff I missed when my computer was out of commission and now I can finally relax a bit. I'm having a lot of fun with the new poses and can more often be found out around the grid taking photos.

Marvellous Monday Stuffs!!!

I'm going to jump straight into things today cos I already missed blogging last week and have so much to catch up on telling you all about.

I love swimsuits and have a huge collection of bikinis, but finding stunning one piece suits is a bit harder when you are as picky as I am. I love the Tropical breeze strapless one piece from Pout though. It has a gorgeous tropical print and cute little bows on the hips and chest. I think its a very glamorous suit to wear to the beach or for lazing out by the pool.

I think the one thing I love most about T Junction is...no matter how deluded Cam gets with his tshirt choices there, I can always find one for a comeback! This week he is under the misapprehension that he is The Incredible Hunk. ZOMG!!!! The shirts here never fail to amuse me and get me giggling. Lookr has been a favourite store of mine for a while now and its a huge buzz having them here on Harlow with us. I love their designs and the textures they use are so yummy. I'm having the nawty lusties over this shirt though. Not only is it very very sexy worn with nothing underneath, but the colours and textures are amazing. In store is a bag of demos for you to pick up so you can try the clothing to see if you love it as much as I do. Such a fabulous idea!!!

I missed the big Sim opening bash last weekend, and also missed collecting the wonderful gifts from our fabulous store owners. A couple did send me theirs and Primagine was one. These are probably no longer available, but I thought I would still show off the gorgeous earrings as an example of the fabulous jewellry you can find in store. The range is simply stunning.

The second main store on Harlow has been rented out to a very talented photographer. Ooh La La Studio is incredible. I peeked in earlier and was blown away by the examples and what they have done with the store. For this month only, there is a profile pic special running. Instead of paying the usual price of $500, you will only pay $350 for an amazing new professional profile pic - with a custom frame included. Check out more examples of their work here.

Well here it is - the very last store available to rent on the Harlow Sim. Its situated on the dock right beside the 7seas fishing area and is $250/wk for 50 prims. Not only do you get a fabulously designed store on a stunning Sim when you rent here, but you also get me blogging about your store, access to the Harlow subscribo group so you can promote your stores and new releases there, and now you also have the super Rhianna working to create fun and traffic-attracting events on the Sim that you can all participate in. We have an awesome group of store owners and staff here at Harlow and we all love to have fun and make things as pleasant, easy and fabulous for you. If you want to be the lucky last Harlow rentee, look me up and I'll set you up with your new store asap.

In reply I slipped into my Superbitch shirt and told him to talk to the hand. Omg you seriously need to check out the shirts in store. I have not laughed so much in a while!

This week's new release from Pout is a gorgeous strapless dress in black or white called Jive. It does have a 50s kind of feel to it, especially with the scarf around the neck, which does add an nice extra touch. You can buy either colour, or them both in a fatpack for $400. I love the way this dress moves with you and the band of pure colour around the torso is a sexy detail.

Bumper Goodies #2

I was talking to Zelly yesterday and she let slip that Harlow is at 81% occupancy rate. That means we have oodles of stores for you to wander around and find something special in, or if you have been holding off taking a store, time is fast running out. We have only a couple of 50 and 75 prim stores left and one 150 prim store, so get in quickly before you miss out. There is also the fabulous main store Zelly talked about yesterday still available too.

Nice to finally have a use for one of my male friends. I sent him off to Karnal Rage to grab some goodies to show you and this is what he came up with....a sexy black shirt he looks so yummy in and a great pair of jeans. Unfortunately he didn't share my interest in just looking at the gorgeous display pictures in the store...admiring the photography work of course! For the man who wants a more urban, streetwear look, and even some rpg looks, then this is the store you need to check out.

Omg this would have to be THE store for couples looking for swimwear! Swim not only sells gorgeous bikinis, but when you buy the packs, you also receive a matching pair of transferable trunks and tank top for the special man in your life. Getting ready for July 4th, Swim has some very patriotic sets available. I just loved the red, white and blue of this set (being British and all) and don't we look adorable. I love love love corsets!!!! I might have mentioned that once or twice before. The Bella corset from Fashion Oasis is without a doubt one of my new all time favs!!! Personally I love wearing them without the undershirt for a sexy teasing look. Looks fabulous with jeans! The Twilight shirt that comes with it gives a more demure look for the more modest. If you are a Pixeldolls-aholic like me, then Fashion Oasis is the place for you!

I was drawn to the sexy cut out sides and assymetrical design of this dress. Its the perfect dress when you are out to create an impression. The cute flare on the side is attached with a brooch which has a bling on/off function. Sexy and affordable, you can't go past this store.

I really love the stunning and classic designs coming from Pout! This dress lives up to its name. Oh la la is what I said when I tried it on. You have plenty of options with this dress too. You can wear it with lace trim or without, and with sleeves or without, so there is a look for any occasion. The red lacing on the bodice is a gorgeous touch too. Friday On My Mind...

Its been one heck of a week, and I am so glad its almost over! Its definitely one I will be happy to see the back of.

My life might have been suckful this week, but the new stuff at the Striking Poses Boutique Stores have been anything but!

With the Monroe beauty spot piercings either side on the top lip and a labret one under the ring which pierces the bottom lip. There's a nose piercing too, but you cannot see due to the picture angle. Another new release is the Cuppycake Lounger which comes with 8 built in sitting poses. Yummeh!!!!! I could just dive on in and nom this all up! Its a fabulous novelty item from Core! Also added to the Core mainstore Lucky Boards is a new and exclusive, never to be sold in the store, pair of Heartz Short Shortz! These kick serious (no pun intended, or maybe it is) butt!

I was distracted by something shiny last week and totally forgot to share with you this absolutely gorgeous dress from Pout. You could even wear the top with jeans or a pair of smart trousers. The fabric is amazing! I love the silky sheen and oriental feel of the design on it. Ok are those pasties just the coolest things ever or what? Little pink heart hide your important bits while big black hands cover the rest! I think they are just so much fun! Perfect for those "Barely There" events too or just for teasing your partner. They look great with the shorts too! I love cats! When I saw this at the Core mainstore, it was an immediate purchase. Its nice having a big friend you can cuddle up with and I tend to do that a lot lately. Also when I was there, I slapped Core's Midnight Mania board and wo0t! I received a pack of 10 cute Grunge Floral textures! I've used them for cushion textures in my house and even photo surrounds. They are so versatile. I've transparented (is that even a word?) the one I used by 50% and it still looks fab!

Once again its great what you find when you hunt around through our Boutique Stores and their main ones. This time I found the Aqua Bikini at Joyful Designs for free this week only. Its a prim bikini too, so it gave me a chance to practice my modifying skills. I didn't do too badly if I do say so myself. I also picked up the gorgeous Ballroom Beauty gown. The skirt is such a transparent tease and it moves lovely with your body...perfect for a night out dancing. New releases are 50% off this week at the mainstore, so you definately do not want to miss this! I spent some time playing the Number Guess game - which I sucked at, but it was fun!

Another example of the great things you find when you poke around the stores. I was wandering the Medusa's Joy Boutique Store, grabbed a LM to their main one to check out more of the range, and stumbled upon this lovely gift. The colour is fabulous and I love the different textures used to give the gown a unique look. Its a store you need to experience!

Nothing sucks more than having to play "group tag" between work, home and guilty pleasure groups when you need or want to join more. The 25 limit is hideous, especially when you pay to join groups and need to join more for whatever reason. Anyway back to Jazmyn D. She does have a subscribo and I absolutely love this gift you receive when you join it. The shirts are two layers, open white top and the blue tank style top, and a sexy pair of black pants with belt detailing. Its dressy enough for work, if you are in management or work in an office environment, or for more casual occasions such as shopping or just hanging out. The Florissa is one stunning dress! Photos really don't do this one justice. The skirt has an amazing floaty effect that swishes about your legs and brings even more added femininity to the whole style. For a donation of $500 or more, this shape is all yours! I soooo need to get a male alt and get this shape for him so he can just stand around in my house looking edible! Look out for the third shape for RFL coming soon!

Introducing the Boutique Stores 1

The Boutique Stores are looking great up on the third floor of the Striking Poses mainstore. If you haven't been and had a look around yet...what are you waiting for?

I'm so excited about the stores that I can help but jump the gun a bit and share some of the awesomeness with you a wee bit early this week.

I'm a huge Pink fan, so broke out pink hair and the awesome new Pink poses to bring you a preview of two of the great stores we have up on the third floor.

Great clothing at wonderful prices. Some of the clothing also has that 80s vibe, featuring mini skirts and dresses teamed up with tights. I don't care what anyone says, I loved that look then and still love it now! Whilst browsing, pick up the free facelight and the dollarbie baby butterflies! I especially love the dancing Yippi and could spend hours mesmerised by it.
