Friday On My Mind...

Its been one heck of a week, and I am so glad its almost over! Its definitely one I will be happy to see the back of.

My life might have been suckful this week, but the new stuff at the Striking Poses Boutique Stores have been anything but!

Thank you to Kristya from Core for bouncing over to my place this morning and taking these awesome pics for me! The lip ring is fabulous! With the Monroe beauty spot piercings either side on the top lip and a labret one under the ring which pierces the bottom lip. There's a nose piercing too, but you cannot see due to the picture angle. Another new release is the Cuppycake Lounger which comes with 8 built in sitting poses. Yummeh!!!!! I could just dive on in and nom this all up! Its a fabulous novelty item from Core! Also added to the Core mainstore Lucky Boards is a new and exclusive, never to be sold in the store, pair of Heartz Short Shortz! These kick serious (no pun intended, or maybe it is) butt!

Fresh off the block at Body Doubles is Jennifer Aniston. Now some might fancy her, or be on Team Aniston...I just wish she would stop whining about Brad. Its been years!!! Get over it already! Regardless, its yet another stunning shape from Body Doubles. I don't know how they do it, but time after time, they get it right! With the shape, you get a style card with skin, hair, eyes and everything else you need to make your Avi look like the stunning picture on the board.

Such a gorgeous and versatile dress this week from Pout. You get a short flirty skirt, ideal for clubbing, the medium skirt which is longer at the back and short at the front which reminds me of a dress you'd go salsa dancing in! And if that wasn't enough you have a classy long slim skirt that could easily take you from shopping in the day in all those high class designer stores (including Pout and Striking Poses of course!) to a drink at a bar in the evening. With a mesh detail to the middle of the top, you can show off some of that flesh without screaming for attention, to put it politely! Once again its great what you find when you hunt around through our Boutique Stores and their main ones. This time I found the Aqua Bikini at Joyful Designs for free this week only. Its a prim bikini too, so it gave me a chance to practice my modifying skills. I didn't do too badly if I do say so myself. I also picked up the gorgeous Ballroom Beauty gown. The skirt is such a transparent tease and it moves lovely with your body...perfect for a night out dancing. New releases are 50% off this week at the mainstore, so you definately do not want to miss this! I spent some time playing the Number Guess game - which I sucked at, but it was fun!

Another example of the great things you find when you poke around the stores. I was wandering the Medusa's Joy Boutique Store, grabbed a LM to their main one to check out more of the range, and stumbled upon this lovely gift. The colour is fabulous and I love the different textures used to give the gown a unique look. Its a store you need to experience!

Nothing sucks more than having to play "group tag" between work, home and guilty pleasure groups when you need or want to join more. The 25 limit is hideous, especially when you pay to join groups and need to join more for whatever reason. Anyway back to Jazmyn D. She does have a subscribo and I absolutely love this gift you receive when you join it. The shirts are two layers, open white top and the blue tank style top, and a sexy pair of black pants with belt detailing. Its dressy enough for work, if you are in management or work in an office environment, or for more casual occasions such as shopping or just hanging out. I just love the generosity of designers in Second Life. They never cease to amaze me with the gifts they give to us all either through groups, hunts or store freebies. I popped on into the Medusa's Joy mainstore and came across these two wonderful gifts from MeritKay to us all. First was the Belted Freebie set. I just love a casual jeans outfit to wear when I'm wandering around or just hanging out. This set is just perfect for those occasions. As part of the Top Designer's Hunt, Medusa's Joy has the Bite Me dress as their gift. Its different, fun and funky! You're bound to turn heads when you wear this number! Body Doubles has done it again! At this rate I'm going to need an army of alts to stand around my home in Body Double yumminess! You don't get more yummy than Hugh Jackman!!! Whether you loved him as Wolverine (how could you not?) or as a bit of rough in Australia, he is one delicious hunk of Man-Meat! You can't go wrong with the man voted Sexiest Man Alive in People magazine for 2009! Also new this week to Body Doubles is Naomi Campbell. Supermodel, superdiva and supersexy! At $600 each, they will sex up any avatar! As always...its the SHAPE you are buying at Body Doubles. Included in each pack is a notecard detailing the skins, hairs, eyes etc that went into making the shape look like the celebrity!

As you can see, I was successful in my appeal to LL and I'm back! Fingers crossed that Ake is back with us tomorrow with more Striking Poses reminders of the fantastic poses Zelly has in the store that we might have forgotten about. She is hard at work making some new poses for us this weekend, as well as a fabulous new group gift, so if you haven't joined, now is the time!!!!

I had some free time last week so I decided to check out Core's mainstore and hit the jackpot! Not only did I pick up a cute pink bangle set for free, but I won the skirt, stockings and legwarmer set one of Core's lucky boards! The LM to Core's mainstore is in her Boutique Store at Striking Poses. As an added bonus, you receive a tattoo along with it. So if you like the cute jewellry and accessories you see in the Core Boutique Store, you need to check out the mainstore! We are pleased to welcome Medusa's Joy to our Boutique Stores. Here you will find an eclectic collection of everything from sexy and teasing lingerie to clubwear and eveningwear. The Morgaine outfit I am wearing is just a wonderful example of Medusa's Joy wear. It has a sexy bodice and a sexy skirt with a black lace underskirt. It moves wonderfully and will look fantastic when you are out dancing the night away. The pink version is Medusa's Joy's group gift and will be available for $1 on Xstreet. There are other colours available and they are $350 each.

Look at the movement of the skirt! Watching it flying around as I changed poses was too good an opportunity to miss, so I caught a picture of it to share with you. The dress can be worn with a jacket layer, which gives the detailing over the fron of the bodice, on or off. It is also available in other colours. The blue is at the Katz Boutique Store. For the black and others, grab a LM and check out their mainstore. You'll love watching the skirt flying around as much as I do I bet!
