Be my Muse

I want to tell you a story

*Ake sits near the fireplace and takes her book, she wears her glasses and looks to the audience, then she looks down to the book and starts to talk*

Every artist has an inspiration, something that make them create the most wonderful things, can be an object, a place o a person, and sometimes is not just one person, they can be 3 or more at the same time.

*She sounds pacefully but with a tone in her voice that invites you into the mistery*

The legend tells that were 3 girls called Melete, Mneme, and Aoede, the Elder Muses, daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, the goddess of memory, but with the time, there weren't just 3, they were nine.

The Muses were venerated throughout Greece, but more so in those areas with many wells and springs. The Muses sat near the throne of Zeus, king of the gods, and sang of his greatness and of the origin of the world and its inhabitants and the glorious deeds of the great heroes. From their name words such as music, museum, mosaic are derived.

*Ake stands up and looks around, she puts the book down and says cheerfully*
