Lazy Days and Mondays!

I just can't seem to kick start myself after the weekend...even though for me its Tuesday!!! Thats the disadvantage of being so after ahead of SLT. I either get confused and lost as to what day it is, or I just float along till it hits me that its one of my blogging days...and I almost forgot it AGAIN!!!

But I didn't and have been off taking pics for the past few hours...and then redoing them cos I forgot to reset my graphics or didn't notice something wrong with the prims etc. Ack editing is a pita!!!

Ali Couture is fast becoming one of my favourite stores in SL. Not only are the clothes sexy and fabulous, but there is something for every occasion. For those days when you feel like flamenco-ing through SL, there is the Delicia gown which comes with hair roses, comb and a fan (scripted and non-scripted). I went with a different windlight setting for this picture to highlight the fabulous and delicate textures used to make up this gorgeous gown. For a better look, click on the picture. Sexy black lace molds to your form and then explodes in a sea of ruffles down from your right hip. Its a stunner!

Is it just me or are the hairs from Calla getting more and more sexy and stylish? I also love the names used for them. It does look like a garden of hair every time I open my Calla hair folder. The Oleander is a stunning style that sweeps back from the forehead and falls down around the shoulders where it bounces up in soft curls, giving it a playful yet still sophistocated look. Available in 25 shades, you are sure to find the one for you!

It wouldn't be Monday without some new tees from T Junction. Omg I loooove this store and the stuff they find to put on their shirts. I never fail to laugh my butt off when I read the notecards and see the new releases. This week Cameron is trying to convince me he is with the FBI - Female Body Inspectors that is. Now anyone who knows me will have to say that the new shirt I am wearing could not be more appropriate - Brat. Of course I have no idea why they would think that!!!

Wearing - Silks (Hunt Gift from the Fashion Expo) from Silk & Satyr

I found these the other day when I was cleaning out my inventory, which seems to be a never ending ordeal for me. They were made for the Fashion Expo, so I have no idea if they are available for sale anymore, or if there are different colours. I thought I would simply show the detail and exquisiteness of the silks from Silk & Satyr. I popped into the Harlow store and was awed by the Cascading range of silks and the gorgeous gowns sold there. I envy the winner who walked away with the $1200 gift cert to this store at the street party. Check them out, and hit the subscribo and you will receive a wonderful gift. Also don't forget their opening special earrings.

Sneaking in on Monday...Just!

Eep I'm cutting it close with the post today. I hit a "no motivation" spot this morning and kept putting things off and now rushing to get in before its Tuesday and Ake's posting day! I do have some awesome things for you today though, so let's get to it.

I just LOVE this gown! In fact I haven't taken it off since Alia sent it to me, except for doing other pictures that is anyway. Its just the most stunning thing I have ever seen...and thats saying something. With three versions of the bodice (standard, see through and a prim draped version) and a gorgeous rose trimmed skirt, its spectacular and looks incredible when you're dancing. It also comes with the roses for your hair. This is a definate MUST HAVE gown!!!

Another one of my favourite designs from MEB is the Prada dress. Its simply lovely! I love the delicacy of it and the muted colouring. It flows amazingly and is an elegant summer dress for any special occasion. Its dressy enough to go from shopping trip to a night out dancing. You will fall in love with this dress too, or maybe something else in the store. All the designs are something special!

Omg just when I thought I couldn't laugh anymore, I opened my new releases from T Junction and found some of the best shirts yet!!!! For Cam - "Buy me another beer, you're still ugly" which did have me wishing I could ctrl alt del him!!!! Here we are hanging out at the Bewitched set in the Studio. Have you checked it out yet? We have cleverly replicated the living room from bewitched and its open for you to come have some fun with and its also the setting for our photo competition. Don't forget to check out T Junction for the funniest tees in SL!

RLF is owned by a new designer just wetting her feet in the clothing field and her first attempt, the Scotty Shorts, are just super. They are unisex and look good on whether you are a male or female. Cameron modelled them for me earlier and he looked hot in them, but I pinched them back cos I love them! I slipped into yet another T Junction release - Come to the dark side...we have cookies! Mmmm cookies! Look out dark side, here I come! RLF also do custom shapes as well as some standard models sold in store.

Wo0t its almost the weekend again! What a busy week its been! I've finally caught up on all the stuff I missed when my computer was out of commission and now I can finally relax a bit. I'm having a lot of fun with the new poses and can more often be found out around the grid taking photos.

Marvellous Monday Stuffs!!!

I'm going to jump straight into things today cos I already missed blogging last week and have so much to catch up on telling you all about.

I love swimsuits and have a huge collection of bikinis, but finding stunning one piece suits is a bit harder when you are as picky as I am. I love the Tropical breeze strapless one piece from Pout though. It has a gorgeous tropical print and cute little bows on the hips and chest. I think its a very glamorous suit to wear to the beach or for lazing out by the pool.

I think the one thing I love most about T Junction is...no matter how deluded Cam gets with his tshirt choices there, I can always find one for a comeback! Lookr has been a favourite store of mine for a while now and its a huge buzz having them here on Harlow with us. I love their designs and the textures they use are so yummy. I'm having the nawty lusties over this shirt though. Not only is it very very sexy worn with nothing underneath, but the colours and textures are amazing. In store is a bag of demos for you to pick up so you can try the clothing to see if you love it as much as I do. Such a fabulous idea!!!

I missed the big Sim opening bash last weekend, and also missed collecting the wonderful gifts from our fabulous store owners. A couple did send me theirs and Primagine was one. These are probably no longer available, but I thought I would still show off the gorgeous earrings as an example of the fabulous jewellry you can find in store. The range is simply stunning.

The second main store on Harlow has been rented out to a very talented photographer. Ooh La La Studio is incredible. I peeked in earlier and was blown away by the examples and what they have done with the store. For this month only, there is a profile pic special running. Instead of paying the usual price of $500, you will only pay $350 for an amazing new professional profile pic - with a custom frame included. Check out more examples of their work here.

Well here it is - the very last store available to rent on the Harlow Sim. Its situated on the dock right beside the 7seas fishing area and is $250/wk for 50 prims. Not only do you get a fabulously designed store on a stunning Sim when you rent here, but you also get me blogging about your store, access to the Harlow subscribo group so you can promote your stores and new releases there, and now you also have the super Rhianna working to create fun and traffic-attracting events on the Sim that you can all participate in. We have an awesome group of store owners and staff here at Harlow and we all love to have fun and make things as pleasant, easy and fabulous for you. If you want to be the lucky last Harlow rentee, look me up and I'll set you up with your new store asap.

I still say you can never have enough swimsuits, and with a new sexy dollarbie from Swim each month, well you would be silly not to run in and snap it up. In it is a sexy bikini for her and trunks for him. Unfortunately they aren't transferable so your hunny will need to snap it up himself too.

This week's new release from Pout is a gorgeous strapless dress in black or white called Jive. It does have a 50s kind of feel to it, especially with the scarf around the neck, which does add an nice extra touch. You can buy either colour, or them both in a fatpack for $400. I love the way this dress moves with you and the band of pure colour around the torso is a sexy detail.

Thursday on Harlow

Wow I can't believe its July and the year is half over already. Its been a rollercoaster six months for me so far and I'm hoping the remaining six months are more settled. How has your half-year been?

I found some awesome stuff to share with you today, along with news of a special store just opened in Harlow.

I was wandering around Harlow looking at the fab new stores which have just opened when I stumbled across Eye Candi and two amazing deals! Absolutely gorgeous is how I would describe the Natalia skin I found there for only $10!!!! It comes in 3 skin tones and is lightly freckled for a cute girlish touch. I just adore the makeup! After skins, hair, poses, tiaras and cupcakes, my next biggest addiction would be without a doubt....Eyelashes! I love how they can completely change your look and give you a more sexy and seductive look. I found a box full of 5 lash styles for only $89!!! I'm in eyelash heaven!!!!

There is no better way to make a statement in SL than wearing it on your chest! When we were browsing in T Junction Cam found and had to have the "I just moved you to the top of my "to do" list" shirt, to which my reply had to be "lmao". Poor guy, no wonder he's single with pick up lines like that!!!! But its a fab shirt and will get a giggle out of your friends and who knows, maybe he will find someone to top that list! As for me, I'm still LMAO!!!

Another thing you can never have too much of in SL is SHOES!!!! I found the cutest and most glamorous ones in Angels when I was having my explore around Harlow. Perfect for dressing up an outfit or just for wearing when you're lounging around in your underwear, posing up a storm! With heaps of styles and colour choices, you will be able to find the perfect pair, or pairs, for you!

Dressed up or down, the Keiko from Out.Rage will get you from casual day wear through to evening wear. The top has a lovely open halter neck with a spiderlike brooch detail at the base of the neck, and the fabric chosen has a dressy and sparkling effect that really makes it something special. It comes with long trousers and just looks fabulous on. There is a variety of colours for you to choose from.

Just opened on Harlow is a special new store called Penny Palisades. In this store you will find items from not only Zelly, but some of our Harlow store owners all priced at $25 or less. Bumper Store Goodies Issue!

It feels like its been a very long time since I have shared goodies from the stores with you, so hold on to your hats, I have a BUMPER issue for you today!

Firstly, a reminder of the stores. We've had a fantastic response to the Sim and now have a wonderful selection of stores for you to wander around and browse in. We still have a couple of rentals left, including the 4 gorgeous stores on the dock. Even better news....Zelly has put in a 7seas fishing game!!!! Omg I am soooo addicted to that! I'm never gonna leave Harlow now!!! Especially with all the fab stores and things you can buy there!

Formerly known as Genesis, Exodi is the baby of one of the top talents in SL, Ryker Beck. I saw a picture of this unikini on her Plurk the other day and ended up in her store buying it, along with a few other goodies for another day's blog. Not only does Exodi have the essentials for summer, but there are also some of the most gorgeous skins I have seen in a while. I picked up the demos and am still trying to decide which one I was to buy. Its not easy when you have such fabulous choices! Exodi also has swim trunks for men, so guys, check them out!

Its no secret that a lot of people are in SL to make money. Whats less talked about though are the people who are in SL to make money for other causes. Every year things get harder for people to make ends meet, especially around Christmas. There's a special couple who stepped up and decided to do something about it, so every year they raise money so they can buy food and toys for the families in their town. The Feather River Toy Run usually this starts closer to December with cute little bears around in clubs and stores where people can donate lindens, but this year, they are starting early and using affiliate stores to help bump up proceeds. VTwins on Harlow is one of those stores. A percentage of anything bought in this store goes to help the needy families of Feather River this Christmas.

Another gothic inspired outfit from DollyRock. This one is a little more playful so I took a more playful picture. A sexy tank top with a skull and roses motif matches up with a cute little flexi skirt. Semi transparent knee high socks continue the motif with roses and leaves, or you can wear prim ankle socks in argyle. With this outfit comes a spikes armband and shoes to complete the look. DollyRock has always been a fav store of mine for good quality clothing at prices that won't break the bank, so check out the fabulous selection.

Dyn has also been a favourite store of mine for a long time. With new sexy clothing coming out all the time, its going to stay a fav for a long time. This dress is simply stunning! I love the asymetrical halter neckline and the fabric texture is just something to be seen. Its a gorgeous dress for a very special night out with your special someone. Be sure to look around and see the other amazing designs Dyn has in store. You won't be disappointed.

I just love this highland inspired kilt outfit from Ali Couture. I was running around my home Sim screaming "FREEEEEEEEEEEEEDOM" in a very Mel Gibson way yesterday. Yeah my neighbours already know I'm nuts, so no harm, no foul there. A sexy tartan bodice draps down over the chest, teasingly exposing a little side boobage. A ragged flexi kilt skirt with a fantastic belt completes the look and then you are all set to go off invading England! Hmm I watch Braveheart a bit too much I think! If you haven't seen the incredibly sexy and detailed clothing Ali Couture has, then you don't know what you are missing!

I'm a huge fan of the t shirts people come up with in SL. There's so many crazy, creative, weird, funny ones available. T Junction has some fab shirts at really great prices. You get all layers so there's never a layering conflict, which is very good if you are a tatt wearer or just like wearing lots of layers. Of course I had to get this one, since in some circles my nickname is Cupcake lol. Although I think my friends would say its the wrong way around and should say Crazy Cupcake. I have cheeky friends! If you are crazy about cupcakes (the baked goods type, or even me if ya like) this is the shirt for you! If now, there's plenty more to choose from.

You really need to take some time to walk around and take in all the wonderful creations from the talented designers we have with us. If your other half is tired of being dragged around looking at stores, he can sit on the dock and fish for a while and let you shop to your heart's content!
