Thursday Goodies from Harlow!

Wo0t its almost the weekend again! What a busy week its been! I've finally caught up on all the stuff I missed when my computer was out of commission and now I can finally relax a bit. I'm having a lot of fun with the new poses and can more often be found out around the grid taking photos.

Ok I love love love this look. Nothing is sexier than an unbuttoned shirt, jeans and another shirt tied casually around the waist. I've been a huge fan of Dyn since my early SL days and with every new design out, I'm even more gaga over them. They just get better and better. Plus they are transferable so its a nice way to buy gifts or even share clothing with friends or an alt. From sexy dresses through to casual wear, Dyn has everything you could possibly want or need. We're Holding a Contest!!!

As the title says ... in just one week our Rhianna has managed to organise an amazing FLICKR PHOTO CONTEST for you all to take part in! We at Striking Poses and all the designers in Harlow can’t wait to see what creations you all come up with!

THE IMPORTANT STUFF:

*Pictures must be taken at the Harlow Movie Studio which currently is centered around the "Bewitched" theme. Be creative with it!

*Entries must use a pose from Striking Poses and at least one prop/accessory from the Harlow stores listed below.

*May submit up to three photos, but each entry must be unique to the others in regards to the pose and Harlow props.

*Entries must list both the model and photographers name, along with the stores and item names of the props included.

*By submitting the photo both the model and photographer are granting Striking Poses full permission to use the photo in promotional pieces.

*No nudity

*Photoshopping is allowed

*Striking Poses staff reserves the right to omit and remove any images that do not meet the criteria

Summer Stunners!

Summer is definately here! Temperatures are rising and layers are coming off as everyone enjoys some fun in the sun! To help with that, I have found some goodies from the stores on Harlow.

Sweet pink flowers dot over a soft blue fabric making up the cutest summer dress you will find at such an amazingly low price. Also available in pink and cream, the Classic Summer Dress from Amanda's Fashions is an instant classic indeed. Its perfect for wearing out on shopping jaunts, hunts or just exploring the marvellous Sims around SL. And at only $75 each, you can afford more than one. Wearing - Devil Inside (Store Gift) from Foxy Fashions

I love tank tops, especially with jeans. I found this super set as a gift in Foxy Fashions! I love the distressed fabric of the jeans, which look incredible on and have such great detailing. They are pedalpusher length (midcalf) and can be worn with sandals or boots. The tank top is my new instant favourite. Not only is it jacket layer (my fav!) but it has a cute "Devil inside" caption (which no-one could believe of me) and the texture is just stunning. Unlike most tops, it has a stretched knit look to it across the bust, giving it a more realistic look. For a gift, its amazing! Thank you FF!!!

Aptly named, the Knockout gown from Fashion Oasis is a complete knockout! The picture I took doesn't do it justice at all. It has the sexiest lace detailing on the bodice and the skirt is something else as well. Its a gown you have to see to believe, and at only $250, how can you not snap it up? After all, its from Pixeldolls, which have some of the most sexy and detailed clothing in SL and are amongst my top 10 favourite stores.

How could I pass up a stunning summer outfit named after the Sim I love? From Exodi, its a versatile outfit that can be worn as a babydoll dress, as above, with tights or jeans as a babydoll top, without the skirt layer as a short jumpsuit, or just wear the top with jeans as a sexy strapless tank top. Its four outfits in one, and lives up to its "daywear" name. You'll have trouble choosing between the colour choices when you add this to your collection. Its a must have summer item!

What could be a better way to end a hot summer's day than waiting for your special someone in a hot set of lingerie from Rattenscharf. Again its an outfit that lives up to name of Romantic Dream. Comprising of a sexy camisole and thong, it is elevated from the ordinary by the design and special little touches. There are deep red roses on the bodice and also on the thong to give it a romantic accent, and the design of the bodice which exposes some skin to tease and tempt is just incredibly sexy. It comes with the stockings and gloves, which have a lacey frill around the wrist.

We have a few stores still available to rent on Harlow and the most incredible opening bash planned for this Sunday, so you need to be in quick before you miss out. We're expecting a huge turnout of people who will see what Harlow has to offer and how fabulous our stores are. Do you really want to miss out on this exposure?

Bumper Goodies #2

I was talking to Zelly yesterday and she let slip that Harlow is at 81% occupancy rate. That means we have oodles of stores for you to wander around and find something special in, or if you have been holding off taking a store, time is fast running out. We have only a couple of 50 and 75 prim stores left and one 150 prim store, so get in quickly before you miss out. There is also the fabulous main store Zelly talked about yesterday still available too.

Nice to finally have a use for one of my male friends. I sent him off to Karnal Rage to grab some goodies to show you and this is what he came up with....a sexy black shirt he looks so yummy in and a great pair of jeans. Unfortunately he didn't share my interest in just looking at the gorgeous display pictures in the store...admiring the photography work of course! For the man who wants a more urban, streetwear look, and even some rpg looks, then this is the store you need to check out.

Omg this would have to be THE store for couples looking for swimwear! Swim not only sells gorgeous bikinis, but when you buy the packs, you also receive a matching pair of transferable trunks and tank top for the special man in your life. Getting ready for July 4th, Swim has some very patriotic sets available. I just loved the red, white and blue of this set (being British and all) and don't we look adorable. There is a special June dollarbie available in store now, so come check them out and stock not only yourself, but your man up in swimwear for the summer.

Wearing - Bella Corset with Twilight White Shirt ($100) from Fashion Oasis

I love love love corsets!!!! I might have mentioned that once or twice before. The Bella corset from Fashion Oasis is without a doubt one of my new all time favs!!! Personally I love wearing them without the undershirt for a sexy teasing look. Looks fabulous with jeans! The Twilight shirt that comes with it gives a more demure look for the more modest. If you are a Pixeldolls-aholic like me, then Fashion Oasis is the place for you!

I'm a sucker for sexy lbd's, and they don't come much sexier than Shimmer. Foxy Fashion is a new store to me and its a great find! I was drawn to the sexy cut out sides and assymetrical design of this dress. Its the perfect dress when you are out to create an impression. The cute flare on the side is attached with a brooch which has a bling on/off function. Sexy and affordable, you can't go past this store.

I really love the stunning and classic designs coming from Pout! This dress lives up to its name. Oh la la is what I said when I tried it on. You have plenty of options with this dress too. You can wear it with lace trim or without, and with sleeves or without, so there is a look for any occasion. The red lacing on the bodice is a gorgeous touch too. If you haven't taken a look at the wonderful designs Pout! has, take some time to look around.

I'm a sucker for earrings (and tiaras), so finding these free in the wonderous Primagine store was like Xmas for me! With a range of glamorous jewellry and accessories, its the perfect place to look around for the sparklie and shiney things we all love to stock up our inventories with! I love the detail and care that has gone into every design. Come have a look for yourselves and see if something grabs your fancy.
