I've just moved to a new Sim and I'm having fun exploring and making a new home for myself. On my travels I found the perfect spot for showing off the new lingerie from Jazmyn D. DollyRock has opened a new store on their Sim and its seriously wonderful! I had a great time looking around it on the weekend. Unfortunately I missed the opening party. Timezones being what they are, it was at around 4am my time and I was off dreaming about...well lets get back to the fabulous DollyRock. The Anita was the opening freebie, but its now being offered for sale. A strapless column melts down the body and a trainlike skirt adds a sexy touch. It looks great when you walk and so special when you are off dancing with your someone special. Don't forget to check out the incredible winning pictures from the DollyRock/photoLIFE competition. Friday On My Mind...

Its been one heck of a week, and I am so glad its almost over! Its definitely one I will be happy to see the back of.

My life might have been suckful this week, but the new stuff at the Striking Poses Boutique Stores have been anything but!

Thank you to Kristya from Core for bouncing over to my place this morning and taking these awesome pics for me! The lip ring is fabulous! With the Monroe beauty spot piercings either side on the top lip and a labret one under the ring which pierces the bottom lip. There's a nose piercing too, but you cannot see due to the picture angle. Another new release is the Cuppycake Lounger which comes with 8 built in sitting poses. Yummeh!!!!! I could just dive on in and nom this all up! Its a fabulous novelty item from Core! Also added to the Core mainstore Lucky Boards is a new and exclusive, never to be sold in the store, pair of Heartz Short Shortz! These kick serious (no pun intended, or maybe it is) butt!

I was distracted by something shiny last week and totally forgot to share with you this absolutely gorgeous dress from Pout. It can work in so many ways, as a playsuit with the shorts, as a slim knee length dress or with the shorter flippy skirt that has great movement and is sure to get you noticed! You could even wear the top with jeans or a pair of smart trousers. The fabric is amazing! I love the silky sheen and oriental feel of the design on it. There's 8 colours to choose from, this blue is my favourite though. Pout is also in the Discovery Hunt with Covet as your gift in an exclusive colour not available for sale until after the hunt is over.

What I love about hunts is the little extras you find in stores along the way. At Jazmyn D I found the Midnight Mania board, so I slapped it and got my name into the draw and luckily so did 99 other people, cos look what I received at midnight! You cannot go past a lovely sparklie dress, especially one in such a vibrant shade of red! On the back is a heart shaped cutout which gives it a lovely touch. After slapping the board, I found the Discovery Gift. Called tasty, you receive a lovely vest top with a cute little design on the bodice and a skirt which can be worn with or without the tights.

Ok are those pasties just the coolest things ever or what? Little pink heart hide your important bits while big black hands cover the rest! I think they are just so much fun! Perfect for those "Barely There" events too or just for teasing your partner. They look great with the shorts too! I love cats! When I saw this at the Core mainstore, it was an immediate purchase. Its nice having a big friend you can cuddle up with and I tend to do that a lot lately. Also when I was there, I slapped Core's Midnight Mania board and wo0t! I received a pack of 10 cute Grunge Floral textures! I've used them for cushion textures in my house and even photo surrounds. They are so versatile. I've transparented (is that even a word?) the one I used by 50% and it still looks fab!

Saturday Stunners!

I'm a wee bit on the late side posting today...sorry bout that! Finally managed to get my pics done, so lets get into it!

From one of our newest Boutique Stores comes two fabulous gift dresses! I was checking out the Discovery Hunt and found a few of our stores in it, so I just had to bounce on over and hunt out the magnifying glass. At the Divalicious mainstore I not only found it, but also the fabulous group gift! The design of the dress and the fabric used for it are absolutely sexy and stunning! I love the jewel feature at the cross over of the straps. Its a perfect cocktail dress for any occasion. The Discovery skirt and top outfit is gorgeous too! This is one store you need to spend some time checking out. Both outfits came with the jewellry worn in the pic. Check the store out on the third floor of Striking Poses and I bet you will be grabbing a landmark and heading over to check out the rest of the range asap!

Another store participating in the Discovery Hunt is Milady's Fancy. I love this dress! From the gorgeous trim across the bodice, the fun zebra print down to the flirty lace skirt...its an incredible gift! When I was hunting at the mainstore, I stumbled across the free silks in a brilliant green. The choice of fabrics is lovely, as is the striking colour chosen. The design is just so yummy. I also spent some time checking out the rest of the range at the store. I'm awed by the talent and spectacular clothing there. Check it out!

Last but by no means least in the stores I found in the Discovery Hunt is xTotalxBettyx. From that wonderful store comes a gorgeous dress for summer with two shirt options. First is a fun and flirty ruffled skirt that moves down the torso and ends high on the thigh. Secondly is an empire type full skirt which ends just above the knees. In a lovely shade of buttery yellow, its a sunny addition to anyone's inventory. Don't forget to check out the new design of their mainstore and stunning new releases!

So many stores spoil us month after month with gifts either through groups, in store or in hunts. I would like to thank the owners and designers for their endless generosity and hope that others, like me, spend some time checking out the rest of their stores, maybe save a lm or make purchases or even find a new favourite store. I have found many of my favourites that way and have become a frequent shopper in them.

Thuper Thursday Things!

Its Thursday which means...almost the weekend!!!! I have some great things for you today, so I'm going to jump right into it!

Her mother was human, her father a Vampire...she is neither. She is a Dhampir. Originally starting out as an action-adventure video game character, BloodRayne has inspired movies and even comic books. Body Doubles brings you BloodRayne as portrayed by Kristianna Loken in the 2006 movie, which I highly do not recommend seeing. The movie may suck eggs, but Rayne is a gorgeous Dhampir and is a shape all Vampire enthusiasts should have in their collection. This is one lady who kicks major butt! You need to have her in your shape collection!

I was looking through the amazing textures from Core, and found the perfect one for the picture backdrop. Featuring a gold skull and crossbones, this is an incredible texture and has such a lovely silky texture again. You need to check these out. They have so many uses and at $300 for a pack of 20, its a good buy.

Yes I'm still in Princess Mode and wearing my tiara. It just goes with everything and looks fabulous with these two gorgeous dresses from DollyRock! First we have the Georgette 2 dress which is a variation of the Georgette gown released last week to celebrate St George's Day in England. Tradition is to wear a red rose through your lapel...or in this case, all over a gorgeous dress. The Georgette 2 dress comes with the shoes featuring a tiny rose on the top. Just stunning. Also new this week is Alice - a playful and cute dress in a pink gingham check with tiny hearts dangling from the bottom of the skirt. Looks like DollyRock's Alice beat the Queen of Hearts and is sporting trophies! Run on in to the mainstore and look under the subscribo - which you neeeed to hit up - and you'll see the Choc Bunny shirt still out as the free gift.

From one of newest stores comes the patriotic Stars n Stripes dress. I feel like Miss America in this picture...and look like her too! Tiaras have that effect. From Rainbow's End, the Stars n Stripes dress comes with two skirt options...long and short...and also comes with shoes! The skirts look great when dancing and its just what you need cos July 4th isn't too far away really. Okay its 2 months away, but you can never have too much stuff right ladies??? Imagine all the parties and events you will need to dress up for! Like we need an excuse though!

I missed Ake yesterday, but she will be back with us tomorrow with more fabulous pictures and poses from Striking Poses to show us. I enjoy watching how she uses them in creative and inspiring ways.

I had a bit of fun with this pic. I used a prop from one of my fav prop places, one of Zelly's fabulous poses and came up with something a bit different. I really need to start paying attention to what is in folders when I opened them! I missed seeing the resize instructions for the fab boots from Core, so I look like a child wearing mummy's shoes in this pic! They are so totally cool though and perfect for a grunge/urban/neko look. The resizer is very easy to work as well. I feel so silly for not noticing it sooner!

To go with it, I pulled on one of my fav shirts from SySy - which might have been retired. There is a SALE on at the mainstore of SySy at the moment. Selected styles are being sold for $50 or $99, so if there is something you have been hanging out to buy, rush on in, cos you might be picking it up for a bargain! There is a LM at her Striking Poses Boutique!

To complete the look I found the most amazing jeans from xTotalxBettyx in my inventory! I've been searching through their stores but cannot find them for sale there, so I'm again unsure if they are current stock. They are fabulously sexy though. Roses are my favourite flowers and these jeans have a gorgeous red rose on the back pockets. Their mainstore has been remodelled and there are some glorious new designs for sale, so pop on in, grab a LM and check it out!

You cannot go wrong with this simple, but adorable summer dress from Jazmyn D. It comes in three colours (pink not pictured) and is just stunning. I love the simplicity of the design and the playful fabric chosen to make this dress. It can take you from picnics at the beach to cafe lunches and just hanging out with friends or your special someone. Elegant is how I would describe the Mademoiselle Fleur dress. Its the classic strapless form fitting dress which ends just above the knees for a sexy touch. The fabric has a gorgeous starburst pattern which gives it a sparkling look without the bling. I have had the lusties for this dress for a while now, and when I saw it was down to $125, well its now in my inventory!!! For a sexy Autumn/Winter look (for us in the Southern Hemisphere anyway) is the Beans on Toast dress. I just love that name too. It comes with matching long socks with slouchies at the ankles and knees. The flares at the wrists and the low cut neckline give this dress a super sexy look for any professional lady or just for anyone who wants to dress to impress!

With a mesh detail to the middle of the top, you can show off some of that flesh without screaming for attention, to put it politely! Once again its great what you find when you hunt around through our Boutique Stores and their main ones. This time I found the Aqua Bikini at Joyful Designs for free this week only. Its a prim bikini too, so it gave me a chance to practice my modifying skills. I didn't do too badly if I do say so myself. I also picked up the gorgeous Ballroom Beauty gown. The skirt is such a transparent tease and it moves lovely with your body...perfect for a night out dancing. New releases are 50% off this week at the mainstore, so you definately do not want to miss this! I spent some time playing the Number Guess game - which I sucked at, but it was fun!

Another example of the great things you find when you poke around the stores. I was wandering the Medusa's Joy Boutique Store, grabbed a LM to their main one to check out more of the range, and stumbled upon this lovely gift. The colour is fabulous and I love the different textures used to give the gown a unique look. Its a store you need to experience!

Nothing sucks more than having to play "group tag" between work, home and guilty pleasure groups when you need or want to join more. The 25 limit is hideous, especially when you pay to join groups and need to join more for whatever reason. Anyway back to Jazmyn D. She does have a subscribo and I absolutely love this gift you receive when you join it. The shirts are two layers, open white top and the blue tank style top, and a sexy pair of black pants with belt detailing. Its dressy enough for work, if you are in management or work in an office environment, or for more casual occasions such as shopping or just hanging out. TGIF Boutique Yummies!

Yay its Friday! In the Second Life world anyway. It does get confusing living a day ahead of SL and always having to think a day behind. I get so disorientated!

I joined the group and grabbed some yummy goodness from Clover like the Dotty Dress and skin that was in the 1000 Member Group Gift and then hit the previous group gift wall and picked up the Sonia Dress and some other yummies I will share with you another time.

Its always a nice surprise when I find gifts from our Boutiquers in hunts all over SL. Being a hunt junkie, I do a lot of them and I was over at Malt doing their Easter Egg hunt when I found an egg from Sweet! with six lovely shirts in it. The Spring Flower one is just so cute. From a distance it does look like the actual shirt is transparent and that you have nothing but flowers and leaves covering you, but its just an illusion from the pale beige fabric. I also found the cute Candy Bikini as a gift in the store over at Malt. Its perfect for summer, beautifully cut and looks like you are covered with M & Ms. Mmmmm I want more chocolate!

From Body Doubles I have 60s sex kitten Ann-Margaret for you today! Born in Sweden and raised in the States, Ann-Margaret went on to become a bombshell in movies and had a successful singing career as well. She has won 5 Golden Globes and also had Oscar, Emmy and Grammy nominations. Best known for her role in Viva Las Vegas opposite Elvis Presley, Ann-Margaret has had a wonderful career which is still going strong. You can be the original redhaired bombshell with this fabulous shape from Body Doubles. With it comes a styling note to help you pick the skin, hair and everything else to become the pictured and finished star.
