Saturday Stunners!

I'm a wee bit on the late side posting today...sorry bout that! Finally managed to get my pics done, so lets get into it!

From one of our newest Boutique Stores comes two fabulous gift dresses! I was checking out the Discovery Hunt and found a few of our stores in it, so I just had to bounce on over and hunt out the magnifying glass. At the Divalicious mainstore I not only found it, but also the fabulous group gift! The design of the dress and the fabric used for it are absolutely sexy and stunning! I love the jewel feature at the cross over of the straps. Its a perfect cocktail dress for any occasion. The Discovery skirt and top outfit is gorgeous too! This is one store you need to spend some time checking out. Both outfits came with the jewellry worn in the pic. Check the store out on the third floor of Striking Poses and I bet you will be grabbing a landmark and heading over to check out the rest of the range asap!

Another store participating in the Discovery Hunt is Milady's Fancy. I love this dress! From the gorgeous trim across the bodice, the fun zebra print down to the flirty lace skirt...its an incredible gift! When I was hunting at the mainstore, I stumbled across the free silks in a brilliant green. The choice of fabrics is lovely, as is the striking colour chosen. The design is just so yummy. I also spent some time checking out the rest of the range at the store. I'm awed by the talent and spectacular clothing there. Check it out!

Last but by no means least in the stores I found in the Discovery Hunt is xTotalxBettyx. From that wonderful store comes a gorgeous dress for summer with two shirt options. First is a fun and flirty ruffled skirt that moves down the torso and ends high on the thigh. Secondly is an empire type full skirt which ends just above the knees. In a lovely shade of buttery yellow, its a sunny addition to anyone's inventory. Don't forget to check out the new design of their mainstore and stunning new releases!

So many stores spoil us month after month with gifts either through groups, in store or in hunts. I would like to thank the owners and designers for their endless generosity and hope that others, like me, spend some time checking out the rest of their stores, maybe save a lm or make purchases or even find a new favourite store. I have found many of my favourites that way and have become a frequent shopper in them.

Hooray for the Weekend!!!!

I keep forgetting to mention a new store we have here at the Striking Poses Boutiques, so before I do it again, we welcome Rainbows End to our family. Drop on in and check them out!

Core does it again! Another cute and sexy choker has been added to their fabulous range. With a little fishy hanging off it, its perfect for a Neko kitty or just any fish fan! I'm wearing the version in rust, but it does come in other finishes and is absolutely stunning. Don't forget you still have time to get your entries in for their advertisement photo contest!!! Maybe you could use this piece...

I had a bit of fun with this pic. I used a prop from one of my fav prop places, one of Zelly's fabulous poses and came up with something a bit different. I really need to start paying attention to what is in folders when I opened them! I missed seeing the resize instructions for the fab boots from Core, so I look like a child wearing mummy's shoes in this pic! They are so totally cool though and perfect for a grunge/urban/neko look. The resizer is very easy to work as well. I feel so silly for not noticing it sooner!

To go with it, I pulled on one of my fav shirts from SySy - which might have been retired. There is a SALE on at the mainstore of SySy at the moment. Selected styles are being sold for $50 or $99, so if there is something you have been hanging out to buy, rush on in, cos you might be picking it up for a bargain! There is a LM at her Striking Poses Boutique!

To complete the look I found the most amazing jeans from xTotalxBettyx in my inventory! I've been searching through their stores but cannot find them for sale there, so I'm again unsure if they are current stock. They are fabulously sexy though. Roses are my favourite flowers and these jeans have a gorgeous red rose on the back pockets. Their mainstore has been remodelled and there are some glorious new designs for sale, so pop on in, grab a LM and check it out!

You cannot go wrong with this simple, but adorable summer dress from Jazmyn D. It comes in three colours (pink not pictured) and is just stunning. I love the simplicity of the design and the playful fabric chosen to make this dress. It can take you from picnics at the beach to cafe lunches and just hanging out with friends or your special someone. Don't forget to grab a LM and hit up Jazmyn's subscribo for all her new design info and gifts. Looks fab with my new hair too!

TGIF Boutique Yummies!

Yay its Friday! In the Second Life world anyway. It does get confusing living a day ahead of SL and always having to think a day behind. I get so disorientated!

Enough about that and on to the latest goodies from the Boutique Stores!

I absolutely love this dress! So much so that I stalked a lucky board all day to get the hair and went off Ballet Boot shopping so I could have a "ballerina look" to wear with it. But its perfect for any occasion, not just for playing ballet! The ruffled skirt and addition of the sculpted flower on the decollatage are what makes this a totally gorgeous dress for going out dancing or any time you want to look glamorous and beautiful! At only $100...how can you not add this to your inventory?

With summer coming up, you can never have enough tank tops and the 70s Print Tank Top from SySy is a classy and sexy one that will dress up any pair of jeans or skirt. Its amazing what you find when you poke around our Boutique Stores. I found this sexy number at the G Sloane Couture store as her gift for women. There is also one for men. With sheer and dark panels over the bodice and skirt, its a very sexy and elegant dress for a classy night out. Check out the rest of the clothing when you swing by to pick this up, cos you might find the perfect outfit you have been looking for!

If you haven't checked out Clover yet, you have no idea what goodies you are missing out on. Not only are the clothes super affordable and gorgeous, but the main store has so many super things like lucky chairs and group gifts. I joined the group and grabbed some yummy goodness from Clover like the Dotty Dress and skin that was in the 1000 Member Group Gift and then hit the previous group gift wall and picked up the Sonia Dress and some other yummies I will share with you another time.

Long before Leonardo and Clare rocked Shakespeare, there was Olivia and Leonard in the 1968 version of Romeo and Juliet, which will be remembered for the first cinematic version of the play to have actual teenagers playing the roles of the doomed lovers. Body Doubles brings you a new shape - Oliva Hussey! A sexy mix of English and Argentine, Olivia is a gorgeous addition to your shape collection. With her comes the styling card with skin, hair etc suggestions to make your new shape look like the picture above.

Welcome to the Looong Weekend!

Yay its a long weekend! As if that wasn't wonderful enough, its a long weekend PLUS chocolate!!!! Which reminds me, I should go stock up on more soon!

The weather is getting warmer, in the Northern Hemisphere anyway, so its time to break out of the jeans and sweaters and time to slip into sexy, light summer dresses. At an affordable price, you can afford to grab more than one! There are five colours to choose from too. It also looks good with jeans. This is a very versatile summer essential!

Its a gorgeous shade of purple which morphs into a black band around the middle, giving it an almost corseted look, then back to the purple for the skirt. Its got a lovely floral fabric too, giving it a classy look which is further shown by the halterneck. Its sexy, very very affordable, and just a lovely addition to anyone's inventory.

Its time for more studly yumminess from Body Doubles! Be still my beating heart...its KEANU!!!! Whether you loved him in Bill and Ted (and how could you not?) or as the sexy surfer/FBI agent in Point Break or as the psycho in The Watcher or the role that everyone best remembers him for...Neo in The Matrix trilogy of movies, Keanu is definately one of the most chameleon actors of our time. DollyRock does it again! Once again I am wowed by the detail and the loveliness of the items I'm sharing with you today. First is the sexy black lace dress - Delmelza. It comes with two flexi skirt options, a short and long one, which you can wear on their own, or together like I have. It comes with the long lacey gloves and stockings and is just a perfect dress for a sexy night with your sig other! May is a breath of fresh summery air after a long and cold winter. What I love about this dress is the detail that has gone into it. There are cute pink flowers moving down the bodice, and they also peek out from underneath the skirt in an underskirt layer. You also get the sandals and bracelet with this outfit. This is the dress for summer that you will just fall in love with!

Thrilling Thursday Treats!

I've been rushing around like a mad woman this week doing some of the hunts currently going on. I still haven't finished sorting through the last hunt's gifts and I'm loading up on more! Some of our fab Boutiquers are participating in them too, so keep your eyes peeled for the goodies from them!

This is one of the stores participating in the Bunny Hop Hunt. Their gift is two very cute outfits, so bunny hop on in and look for the Easter Egg! I picked up the Retro dress during their recent sale, so rush on in and see if it is still a super low $25 still! Its a gorgeous dress with a very 50s retro feel and its perfect for a night out dancing or just spending time with your someone special. The transparent skirt layer adds a sexy touch too. I saw the Carrie dress at their Boutique Store and just fell in lusties with it and grabbed it! The colour is so adorable, but its the sexy design and details like the flower on the shoulder that make this dress something special. Its exactly the dress you should wear when you grab your partner and break out Zelly's Dancing With The Stars poses from last year's group gifts!

Wow! Thats what I thought when I stopped in to check out this store. Katya Dirval Designs has the most incredible SL photography I have seen in a while. The poses she uses, scenery and settings she picks - perfect! The pictures are on sale for an amazingly low $49 each. Stop on in and be blown away by incredible talent of Katya Dirval yourself.
